Only 5 sleeps to go before the 2015 season kicks off. Round 1 commences this Sunday 19th April with our footballers & netballers taking on Melton at Blackwood Drive.

Just a few reminders leading into the season:

It is not too late to register! All players who have not yet registered need to ensure that this is completed before Friday 17th April. Players need to complete the online registration process so that they can be added to the game day team sheets. If a player’s name does not appear on the team sheet, they cannot take the field.

Calling all netballers & footballers! We still have spots available in our U13 & U15 Netball teams as well as our U10 & 14 football teams. Players will be guaranteed plenty of game time and may even be called upon to fill in for another team within our club. Fixtures! All fixtures have now been uploaded to our website www.sunburyfc.com.au Please always refer to your Team Manager for confirmation of game times & venues.

Game Day Volunteers! As we are a volunteer based club, assistance is required on game days to ensure that your child’s team can take to the field. Whether it be running the boundary, assisting with First Aid or simply providing the oranges, every little bit helps. A great opportunity to meet new people and reacquaint with old friends, volunteering for a job will ensure that your child’s team will be ready for game day. You will enjoy it & so will your child. If you would like to volunteer for a role within your child’s team, please contact your Team Manager.

Club Merchandise! Club apparel/merchandise will be on sale on Wednesday night training sessions (from 5.30pm onwards) and on game days when we play at home. The apparel store will be setup just inside our clubrooms, so please come and have a browse and maybe purchase that hoodie or jacket that you keep eyeing off. Winter will be upon us before we know it, so keep warm in some Sunbury Lions apparel.

Social Rooms! Our clubrooms will be opened to families on training nights and on game days. Complimentary tea & coffee will be available. We do request that children under the age of 10 are supervised and football boots are to be removed before entering the rooms. Strictly no footballs allowed!

Canteen Manager! This season Lisa Kosinzki joins our club as our new Canteen Manager. We look forward to having her on board and hope that all our members make her feel welcomed.
